Retirement planning for women in their 50s

A clear plan for the next 30 years, without the sales pitch.

I’m Nora. I help you see where you stand, what’s possible, and what to do next, in plain words and at your pace.

Who I help

You might see yourself here

  • You’ve done well, but no one has ever shown you the whole picture.
  • You’re on your own now, after a divorce or a loss, and money decisions feel heavier.
  • Retirement is getting closer and you’d like someone calm to go through it with you.

How I get paid

A flat, upfront fee. I don’t earn commissions on anything I recommend.

My background

Why I went independent

I spent many years inside big financial firms, and much of that job was selling products. I left so that I could give advice and nothing else. Now I answer only to the women I work with.

What working with me looks like

We start with a short, friendly call. If it feels right, I look at your whole picture and write you a plan you can read in one sitting, with the next steps spelled out. There is no pressure to decide anything on the day, and you are always free to take the plan and go.

How it works

Three calm steps, no surprises.

  1. A free intro call

We talk for 20 minutes, by video or phone. You tell me what’s on your mind, and I tell you honestly whether I can help.

  2. Your written plan

I go through your whole picture and send you a plan in plain words, usually within three weeks. We talk it through together.

  3. Yearly check-ins, if you want them

Once a year we sit down for an hour and update the plan. Entirely optional.

Fees

What it costs, in full

Retirement plan$1,800 one-time
Yearly check-in (optional)$600 a year
Intro callFree

That’s all. No hourly extras and no percentage taken from your savings.

What I don’t do

  • Sell insurance or investment products.
  • Take commissions from anyone.
  • Push you to move your money.

Questions

Things women often ask me

Do I need a certain amount saved?

No. I work with people at many different stages. If a plan can help you, we’ll find that out on the call.

Will you try to sell me something?

No. I don’t sell products and I don’t earn commissions, so I have nothing to sell you.

What if I’m starting late?

Many of the women I meet are. A clear plan helps most when time feels short, because it shows which few choices matter.

Is my information private?

Yes. I keep it private, and I never sell it or pass it on without your permission. You don’t need to send any numbers before we talk.

What happens on the intro call?

We chat about where you are and what you’d like. I explain how I work and what it costs, and you decide whether to go on. There is no obligation.

If you’d like to, have these handy

All optional. You can come with nothing but yourself.

  1. When you’d like to stop working

A rough idea is plenty, even “around 65, maybe sooner.”

  2. Any pension letters

If one is easy to find, it helps. If not, we’ll talk about it.

  3. Your questions

Big or small. Please don’t send me any numbers or account details.

What happens next

You’ll get a welcome email from me in a few minutes. On the call we talk, you ask whatever you like, and I tell you honestly whether I can help. If you need another time, the email has a link to pick a new time. No need to apologise.
